Today we had a talk from the 'bugman'. He explained why bugs are so important and what they do for us. He talked about how they pollinate flowers and help to bring about seeds and fruit. He talked about how they are a food source for birds and other animals and even for people in some parts of the world. He explained how they are nature's recyclers, eating waste to return the nutrients to the soil. He even showed us a few live bugs. Bella got to show us how brave she is by handling a native spider!
